Time for some speculative science, ladies and gents-
Ahead of us lie a massive new transformation, right under our fingers.
The days when we will be able to whisk our fingers over a screen and produce programs, documents, and media in a natural fashion is right around the corner. How will you choose to invent, and what will you create?
The possibilities become more diverse and easier to obtain every month. Each month? Do you remember when we spoke of new programs and ideas in terms of years?
I remember as a young script kiddie the long waits, the anticipation of waiting until “next year” for a new operating system to be built- hell, I remember the suspense of three years, awaiting one windows distribution to outdate the other. I recall passing statements of “they just come out with these things too fast, we haven;t learned the last one yet…”
I am sure we will soon speak of these terms in weeks, in days! The exponential growth and expansion of our digital world is cranking up now to an undeniable, very tangible reality!
So the question is no longer can you hack, it’s now a matter of…
what do you want to hack?
The CHiL Foundation will be taking on a radical project this month. Many new leaps lie ahead in the coming months, but easily the most pivotal for the CHiL community will be the creation of CHiL Studios!
CHiL Studios will be a non-profit audio recording studio, benefiting the Treasure Coast with free studio time and media management in exchange for free media to share with other up-and-coming artists.
Contribute tracks and get connected with other local artists! Suggest equipment and donate gear, stake a claim in our first season’s schedule, or get published online- comment on this thread now with your ideas!

The CHiL website will now automatically podcast any mp3 files that are tacked onto posts. CHiL Studios will feature an exclusive web package for local musicians starting on New Year’s, including a custom web portal page and full networking assistance.
One step in a long haul of new capabilities for unsigned talent. Starting in late January, CHiL Studios will begin audio production for a few bands on the Treasure Coast, and a weekly radio show.
